The rug must be genuinely handwoven. I do not source machine-made rugs as handmade Persian rugs.
The materials are checked and described honestly. I focus on natural rug materials such as wool, cotton and silk, according to the rug’s actual construction.
The rug should correspond to the design, structure and characteristics presented to you, with no undisclosed major technical problems.
The colors shown in the photographs and videos should accurately represent the rug. Natural variations caused by lighting and photography are always explained where relevant.
The rug is checked for its physical condition, weaving quality, shape and any significant technical issues before it is offered to you.
I access the rug’s origin, construction, design, materials, age and other available evidence before presenting it to you.
Where available and appropriate, the rug is provided with its relevant identification or certificate documentation.
